
Supportive Living
Health & Joy Services Supported Living Service is provided for people to receive the type of support that will allow them to learn, gain, and enhance their independent skills of daily living such as personal grooming, household chores, eating and food preparation. Staff will also engage the person in other social and adaptive skills necessary to enable the person to reside in the community as a contributing member.
Health & Joy Services’ trained staff members will ensure that participants receive hands-on support in their skill building, habilitation learning for their goals, and other educational supports for those that have needs in the following areas: Eating and Drinking, Toileting; Personal Hygiene; Dressing; Grooming; Monitoring Health and Physical Condition and assistance with medication or other medical needs.
Health & Joy Services Supportive Living is set up in a way to ensure that each participant receives professional and medical services to meet each persons documented formal goals as identified in their Individual Support Plan and Plan of Care.
Professional and medical services involves Health & Joy Services ensuring that the person is receiving their doctor’s recommended clinical services, such as: Medicine; Dentistry; Education; Nutrition; Nursing; Nursing; Occupational Therapy; Physical Therapy; Psychology; Social Work; Speech,
Hearing and Language Therapy; & Recreation with certified clinicians.
